Help... Ok so first of all the dishwasher would not empty. So I checked the drain hose, removed and flushed, checked the drain. Cleaned the impellers etc. I was JUST about ready to test when I noticed a stainless rod, line a motor shaft in the area of the drain. about 3/8 inch wide, 1/2 inch protrusion into the white drain area below the stainless steel sieve that you remove to gain access. anyway i tried to wiggle this, then stupidly put my finger on the end and applied a little pressure and presto it disappeared inside through the rubber gromet opening. SOOO how do I retrieve this little thing and WHAT was it there for?... Oh and now i get drainage but no water into the machine..Is this related?
