Yes, and give them their menus :) also, it would be appropriate to wear nicer clothing, not neccessarily rich people clothing, but nice looking outfits, considering you will be working at a &quot;rich butt resturaunt&quot;

Not only do you have to seat them and give them their menus, but you also have to seat them in certain sections that are specified by the waiters/waitresses so that everyone gets an even amount. This is the toughest part, especially when it gets super busy and people and you have to seat people fast! Sometimes you have to make a waiting list and deal with less than courteous patrons. Just make sure to keep a calm, patient attitude. As far as your clothing goes your manager might tell you what you have to wear, other wise keep it classy but simple. I had to wear all black and I did my hair nice and wore a necklace/earings/ring/s and sometimes a bracelet. Just have fun with it and Good Luck!!

Congrats on the job prospect!  Duties can vary depending on the restaurant. You will make reservations and greet guests when they arrive.  You will show them to their table when it is ready.  You might also be responsible for getting highchairs, adding chairs or removing them to seat the appropriate number of people.
