I might be getting my cartilage pierced..my friend got hers done, but now her ear bends??

is 316L ASTM F-138 and 316LVM ASTM F-138

a good kind of stainless steel stud for cartilage piercings?

  1. Just go to a professional piercing salon where they pierce your ear with a needle (not a gun) and select one of the starter earrings they have.


  2. dont just go to a piercer and get whatever, you definitely want implant grade surgical steel, which is 316L and LVM. you want this because they are easy to sterilize and they are corrosion resistant. basically, your body wont even know anything is there and as long as you keep it clean it shouldnt get infected. dont be afraid to check out multiple piercing parlors and find and dont be afraid to ask what kind of jewelry they use. try to find whats best for you.
