I am 25 year-old female and work in the mental health industry. I have lived in New Orleans my whole life and need a change in scenery. I am thinking of moving towards the end of the year. Can anyone tell me what is a good starting point, as far as neighborhoods go? I would like to buy, ideally a condo downtown. I love city life! Help! Any input is appreciated!

  1. When the above person said that Charlotte is a big place, what they really meant was that it's a REALLY big place. It's a different type of city in that there's "country" all over the place. You'll be driving through what you think is city and come across large portions of woods or fields. It's beautiful, but it really stretches the city out. Getting a good realtor is a good idea, but I really like the Matthews area. It's pretty close to uptown, but has it's own cute appeal.

  2. charlotte is a big area. your best bet is to find a great realtor that can give you the scope of the area... neighborhoods to live in, what fits your budget, vacinity to items of interest, ...

if you need help i know a great agent who does a referal program (even internationally). she'll call around and find an agent in the area that is best suited to find your home or even just to get you information.
