  1. Definitely use mirror brackets anchored to studs!!

BTW "Mighty Putty", I don't know, but when it's called "Underwater Epoxy" (available at any hardware store for about half the price) I've been using it for years! Great stuff! Hard as a rock and as light as paper after cured.

  2. It's a dud!

  3. It sucks

  4. Personally I wouldn't use any adhesive to hold up a mirror. It probably could be done but i would always be worrying about it. I don't think the proper mirror clips are very expensive and they are designed for the job so you can't go wrong.

  5. I would not.

A heavy object like a large mirror needs to be attached to the studs. The paper face of the drywall can peel off and you'd end up with 7 years of bad luck and a big mess.

Oh, by the way Mighty Putty take 24 hours to cure hard. I'm not sure how you'd actually use it to hang anything up without also fabricating some sort of holder!

    Use screws, they work.
