Migrating pokemon question?

I no that you have to have the national pokedex and beat the elite 4 on pokemon D/P but on the GBA game like emerald ruby etc do you have to beat the elite 4 on them

just remember you need to forget the hms but they must be in the computer and there must be six of them for it to work then go to pal park

No you don't but the migrating pokemon can't know HM's. The move deleter is in canalave city if you need him.

no, the only thing you need to do on the GBA game is make sure none of your pokemon have any HM's learnt, pokemon that know HM's cannot be migrated
