Migrating to UK?

At present living in Italy, am Sri Lankan origin.Married and having two kids.My eldest son is 4 1/2 years.He would be starting school, next September. I prefer UK education. We have the Permanant Permit stay.

What I want to know is, if I want my eldest son ( and 2nd son ) to study in UK; is it possibile with the Permanant Permit stay?

What are the procedures ? Pls help .

  1. I guess you will need to ask this question directly from the Embassy Of UK in your country. You would get the answers you are looking for. TC


  2. 1. Are you married to an Italian (or any EU national)

    2. is your Passport Italian or Sri Lankan

    3. Is your "Permenant Permit" for Italy or is it the UK "Indefinate Leave to Remain".

    If you or your spouse is an EU national immigration is unlikely to present a problem.

    If you already have ILR in the UK then your son ought to be able to join you as a matter of course.

    Beyond that, the 1st answerer is right - you'll have to contact the Embassy where you are now, or the Home Office if you're in the UK now.
