Summer signing, Miguel Britos, has expressed his disappointment for not being part of Napoli’s successful start to the 2011/12 season.
Britos joined the Partenopei side from Bologna during the summer transfer window for an undisclosed fee. The defender broke a foot in his team’s friendly match against http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 in the pre-seasons.
Walter Mazzarri’s side have had a great start to the new season and are third in the Serie A table. On the other hand, their UEFA Champions League season has also started in a great fashion, as they are placed second in their group.
The Azzurri have comprehensively beaten Italian giants, A.C Milan and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Inter-c39567 Milan thus far.
The defender has not featured in any of the games since the start of the season and is getting frustrated sitting on the sidelines. The 26-year-old desperately wants to make a return to the first-team but has insisted that he will
not rush back his return because the injury is little complicated.
The Uruguayan has targeted a return to action in a month’s time and is hoping that everything goes well.
While talking to the reporters, Britos said, “It costs me so much to see the successes of my teammates without being able to participate. I wish I could play right away, but unfortunately the injury I suffered needs time to heal
because the break was in the bone, and so I must adhere strictly to the time needed for it to heal. I think a month, and if all goes well I will be available to [Walter] Mazzarri.”
