PBF wins in a lopsided decision.  Cotto's toughness keeps him from being stopped but he takes a pounding not quite a decisively as Carlos Baldomir, but close.

This fight will never happen.  Why?  Not because of Cotto's ability, notoriety, or ability to generate interest.  Those issues have been sufficiently addressed.  The problem lies in Cotto's close ties with promoter Bob Arum, whom PBF despises.  PB will not have anything to do with Arum or an Arum-backed fighter for anything less than sums well-above the going rate the fight would normally rate.

You want to see Cotto to lock up w/PBF?  Have him drop Arum and sign w/Golden Boy Productions and the fight will happen.

PBF will be able to exploit the openings that Zab Judah didn't have the discipline to take advantage of.  Unlike Sugar Shane, PBF also knows how to move his head.  Cotto will not be able to get many blows in.  

It won't be close.

Floyd wants one more big money fight with DLH and then he can look seriously at retirement.

Cotto may be the only fighter out there who has a good chance to destroy PBF's legacy, but he's not very well known and a fight would not be a gate-buster like DLH-PBF I.  Floyd might risk it all for $20 million, but not for a quarter of that.

Mayweather, kinda like Baldomere but Cotto can't take a punch as good. Mayweather may surprise everyone with a knock out depending on how he's feeling that night or a unanimous decision if it goes to he cards.

If Cotto get's to the body,he could do some serious damage. Cotto is a devastating body puncher. That is unlikely because Floyd is just too fast. Floyd wins in decision.
