Mike G is absolutely right. He lost the 1st time and was given a gift decision against Castillo! Cotto doesn't waste punches and please stop using the faster boxer always wins argument! That's a crock and everyone knows it. We've seen speed lose to power by KO and we've seen power fighters lose to speedy fighters by points! (Pavlik vs. Taylor; Chavez vs. Taylor; Cotto vs. Mosley) All of these fights plus countless more had fighters who were, on paper,  slower but more methodical. This fight with Floyd is no different. Cotto will walk him down; late tko by 11th.

Let's see how many times Floyd is going to turn his body in the corner after he receives his first liver shot from Cotto!

Mayweather is afraid to fight him, he should be.

Look for this fight to happen with in the next year and a half.

Cotto has superior power, and is an all around better athlete.

Mayweather, hands down! Cotto was lucky to escape w/a victory over a Shane Mosley in the twilight of his career. Now he wants to step in the ring w/a lion in his prime w/better reflexes and just as fast (if not faster) hand speed than Mosley. Please! Don't lose your money betting on Cotto!

April 20th, 2004, Money May, fought Jose Luis Castillo, and lost... however was give the 12 UD.  Everyone watching knows that he lost that fight.  Thats why Floyd fought him again immediately.  

How does this relate to Cotto?  Jose Luis Castillo is a peekaboo body puncher, so is Cotto.  Cotto hits harder then Castillo and puts A LOT of pressure on his opponents. Floyd does not like fighting pressure fighters.  Especially a fighter that hit as hard as Cotto.

Bottom line is that Mayweather knows he could lose the fight and will not fight him until 2009 - 2010.  

I say Cotto by KO in round 11.
