yeah, like one of the answerers said it will be July 26th although Margarito's newly won title probably will not be on the line. Joshua Clottey is the mandatory challenger for that belt so unless Margarito can get an exception (or pays Clottey to step aside for one fight) then he will be forced to relinquish his version of the title. If he does, there are talks of a Clottey- Luis Collazo fight for that vacant belt on the undercard. That would be two entertaining fights for sure.

On the 26/7/08, the two fighters will meet at Madison Square Garden, NY!

The fight will be on for the WBA & IBF Welterweight Titles! I think its going to be an AWESOME fight! Cotto & Margarito are two tought fighters capable of winning or losing!

margo already sign their just waiting on cotto. So the fight aint a done deal yet. But I really hope it happens. I think cotto is realizing margo is a dangerous opponent
