Mii comeptions on wii?

i was at my friends house and she had wifi on her wii (so do i) and she had made a mii and entered it in a competition that was like you had to make Julietta mii. how do i get that competition?

its called the check out mii channel, you need wireless internet in order to download the channel from the shop channel, if you dont have wifi you can get the landline connector, or the nintendo wifi USB connector, but I recommend the landline connector, I think you can buy it from nintendo's website

EDIT: no its free, the only channel that costs money is the internet channel
