Mikael Samuelsson out, Henrik Sedin and Chris Higgins ready to make comeback

Vancouver Canucks will be facing the San Jose Sharks in the Conference Finals. Ahead of the game, they learned that their star and veteran player, Mikael Samuelsson, will miss the game as he sustained a lower-body injury.
Samuelsson sustained the injury to his left leg after he was caught in a collision with Nashville Predators, Nick Spaling, in the first game of the semi-final series. Coach of the Vancouver Canucks had this to say about Samuelsson:
"I would say he's (likely) not going to start the series", Canucks coach, Alain Vigneault said.
Samuelsson has had his share of bad luck during the play-offs. He was fully prepared and geared up to start the play-offs but missed the very first game of the first round series against the Chicago Blackhawks. At the time, he was down with the flu and had
to rest.
Also, the winger’s left leg has previously caused problems for him and kept him out of action in March when he missed six games. He was injured at the time in the game against the Phoenix Coyotes, which the Canucks lost. Samuelsson was seen limping the last
time the team came out of the practice session.
However, with this also comes the news that the Canucks are going to get better with the inclusion of Henrik Sedin and Chris Higgins into the line-up even though they haven’t spent much time on ice. Both players have shown that they are very important players
for the team because they can change the outcome of a game in a matter of minutes.
Both were injured and are fully fit and expected to be part of the team when the Canucks face the Sharks in the Conference Finals. Higgins got injured while blocking a shot that saw the puck hitting his left foot.
"It's good that we had a couple days off to rest up", he said. "A couple guys haven't been skating, but everyone should play. I'll be fine. I played with it already for one game".
