Mike Easton to collide with Yves Jabouin for UFC on Fuel TV 3 in May – UFC news
Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) recently announced a bantamweight non-title bout between Mike Easton and Yves Jabouin which will take place at UFC on Fuel TV 3 pay-per-view, the third episode of the apex mixed martial art organisation on Fuel TV.
The bout is a part of the special edition headlined by the encounter between Dustin Poirier and Chan Sung Jung and is scheduled to take place at the Patriot Center situated in Fairfax, Virginia.
Mike and Yves are almost new to UFC and are in their second and third bout respectively. Mike had been in a total 13 mixed martial art brawls and has fought bouts in various organisations such as Ultimate Warrior Challenge (UWC) and many others.
He has lost just one bout in his career and is on a continuous winning streak after his only loss against Reynaldo Duarte in Combat Sport Challenge.
Mike, 28, infamous as ‘The Hulk’, is an average when it comes to stats. He has collected four of his wins by knock out, two by submission and six by unanimous decision. A glance at the stats shows that he mainly depends on his resilience level and strives
to find a hole in the defence of his opponent in order to strike a decisive punch to collect a knock out win.
Yves hailing from Canada, 32, is much more experienced than his upcoming May 15 opponent. Nicknamed as the ‘Tiger’, Yves has been in a total of 24 mixed martial art bouts and collected 17 wins. 11 of his wins came by knock out, one by submission, and five
by unanimous decision.
His knockout ratio clearly shows that the Canadian tiger heavily relies on his kayo ability and does not gives his opponent the leverage to stand straight and take a deep breath in the ring amid the brawl. Mike will put his resilience level and UFC win streak
on-the-line and it will definitely be a test for the young man.
Yves, on the contrary will pound Mike viciously to collect an immediate win. The bout is important for both men since a win for any one will boost them up in the top 15 rankings of the bantamweight division. For Yves it is a golden chance no doubt but for
Mike, a bitter, tough test of his career.
