  1. This would be a very close fight.  In 15 Gibbons does just enough to win 8 rounds to 7.  Gibbons had a win over Greb and a draw with McFarland which many people thought he won.  Cerdan beat Zale and would have won the rematch with LaMotta.  Not much difference between these great fighters.
