Mike Hussey backs McKay to play World T20 warm-up matches – Cricket News Roundup – Part III – September 14, 2012

Australia, the four-time ODI world champs and a Test super power of past, are yet to prove their mettle in the shortest format of the game. Their best finish in the World T20 to date is reaching the final in 2010.
Bailey, who took over as Australia’s T20 skipper in January, said that his side did not take T20 cricket serious in the past and this is the reason behind their unimpressive stats in this format of the game. However, he warned the opposition teams that their
approach has altered and they are eager to win the title.
"It's one trophy we don't have in our cabinet and it's something we're looking to rectify," said the Tasmanian top-order batsman. "It's a bit of a process, Australia didn't really take T20 that seriously, I certainly think that's changed,” he added further.
