Chuvalo was tough and durable, but that alone wouldn't have been enough, George didn't have the fire power to take out Tyson.

Tyson by KO inside 6 rounds.

Chuvalo was one of the toughest men to ever step in a boxing ring and never was knocked off his feet.  One of his career losses was to the great Joe Frazier and while I'm not comparing Tyson to Frazier, it would be a similar result.  Tyson's superior handspeed would cut up and bruise Chuvalos face and force the referee to intervene in round 9.
