Arsenal’s http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 to finish in the top four at the end of the season.
The North London club went on to suffer another massive set back in their hunt for a top four finish, as the team ended up drawing their game against Bolton Wanderers.
This draw saw the Gunners drop down to the seventh spot in the league and has left a lot of people wondering if the team has any chance of finishing in the top four at all.
Most of the Gunners are seemingly hopeful that that team can pick their form up and march back to the top.
However, Arteta has gone on to take a far more realistic approach, as he has admitted a top four finish is seemingly quite difficult at the moment and it is now up to the team to prove their worth via their performances on the pitch.
Arteta, when talking about the team finishing in the top four is quoted to have said: "It is going to be tough to finish in the top four but it depends on us"
"We have got the talent and the quality in the side to do it but we have to show it day by day. I am confident because we train together every day and I know how good we are but we have to show it every day, not every two or three weeks."
The midfield magician also revealed that the team needed to try and finish games off with the chances that they got during games, while admitting that focusing on the smaller details was now very crucial for the Gunners.
"It is more about details to score and make the game much easier for us," he said. "It depends on small details.”
Arsenal can’t afford to drop any more points, or they are more than certainly going to end up going into the coming season without a Champions League spot.
The team needs to approach the remainder of their season one game at a time, while trying to stabilize their defence and by taking the chances they get in front of goal.
Should the Gunners do just this, it wouldn’t be surprising to see their name in the top four at the end of the season.
