The team had gone on to sign Olivier Giroud and Lukas Podolski earlier in the transfer window, and the tow have now become the primary options for the team.
Arteta has claimed that it would be unfair and foolish to expect the new signings to be able to recreate what Van Persie did, while insisting that the two needed to be given time at the club.
“You can’t replace Robin. To do so is impossible because he’s such a special player,” Arteta said in a recent interview.
“Manchester United went for him at the age of 29 - what does that say? It says there aren’t many bigger talents in the world.”
“It doesn’t matter who is brought in for Robin. You can’t ask anyone to be as good as him,” he stressed.”
So far Arsenal have failed to score in the Premier League, but at the same time they have also not conceded a single goal in the league.
The Spaniard is confident that the new strikers will improve in the near future and feels that once that does happen, everything is going to work out for the Gunners.

“It could all change for him, just like that. Last week, Olivier had a massive chance to win the game and he would have been the hero.”
He then went on to praise http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896, as he feels his movement is rather impressive and more than often causes his opponents a lot of problems.
It is now a wait to see just how the duo ends up performing over the course of the whole season.
