Mikel Arteta reveals that he never had a medical before joining Arsenal from Everton – Premier League Update

During the last few hours of the transfer window, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 made their desire to land the player known and as a result, it appeared like there wouldn’t be enough time for regulation checks to take place.
As a result, the teams agreed over the fact that if any medical issues were found with the player, then Arteta himself would be held responsible for those setbacks.
The prolific midfielder has gone on to break down his transfer to the club and has gone on to reveal just how it took place.
Arteta when talking about his move to Arsenal is quoted to have said: “It was very stressful. At 6pm, they said everything had broken down. Then, at 8:30pm, everything started again"
"But there wasn't time to have a medical. I went to the offices of the club [Everton] and from there I told Arsenal to trust me and that if some medical problem was found it would be my responsibility."
Despite having been a loyal Everton player in the past, the player has now admitted that his primary focus is to help the Gunners get back on track and go all the way in the coming weeks.
Arteta feels that the team is just caught up in a slump and will be back to their winning ways sooner rather than later.
"It's obvious that the club is having a phase of one or two months of difficulties and there have been a lot of people disappointed," he added.
"But we'll come out of this. We'll compete for everything. It's down to us to give the fans reasons to get back to being excited."
The midfielder then admitted that despite many assuming him being brought into the club to replace Cesc Fabregas, he is a completely different player, who has different ambitions and goals.
He also revealed that with Fabregas having been at Arsenal for seven years and him for only a couple of weeks, it was impossible for anyone to assume that the two had a similar role at the club.
In the few games that Arteta has played for Arsenal, he has already proven that he has just what it takes to go on and help the team win titles again.
The midfielder’s presence on the pitch is superb and hopefully he will be able to link up with the rest of the team, as he helps the Gunners bounce right back into the top half of the table once again.
