Real Sociedad subjected Malaga CF to their second consecutive home defeat on Saturday and defender, Mikel Gonzalez, considers his side’s 2-1 win over the Andalusians was the best of the season

Mikel was surely excited with the result and could not praise his teammate’s performance on Saturday enough.
The defender said this match was the best his team has played so far in this season. He also revealed that their main objective was to win the game and at the end of the match they got exactly what they wanted.
“For me, it was the most complete game of the season. We went for the win, and got it. It was the best win so far.”
The 27-year-old believes his team deserved to come away with all the three points. He also added that Sociedad will go into the coming few games with more confidence and belief.
“It was definitely a deserved win. The win has given us confidence to go into the next few games with a lot more belief.”
Meanwhile, recovering Malaga striker, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Julio-c19950 Baptista, is sure his team will recover from their back-to-back defeats and return to their peak soon.
Baptista contributed his side’s current slump in form to the fact the team has played so many matches since they are involved in several competitions.
“When you play so many consecutive games it doesn’t give you time to train and perhaps that’s why we lost.”
The Brazilian has suggested that all they can do now is to train more, work harder and play a better football.
When asked about what are his thoughts regarding the current financial issues facing his team, the former Real Madrid man was quick to stay away from it.
“We have to stay on the edge of things, try to train and think only of playing well. The extra-sporting issues will be sorted out,”
Real Sociedad are currently on the 13th spot on the table. Next match in the Primera Division, they will host Rayo Vallecano.
