Following his arrival to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 from Lille, everyone has gone on to expect the striker to great things from the very first day. The main reason for this, is the fact that his transfer cost the team a massive thirty two million pounds and for that fee, the fans expect the very best.
Mikel has admitted that after having trained and played with Hazard, he believes that the Belgian is destined to do great things for the club, but all he needs is time to change his style of play to suit Chelsea.
"He's a good player that just needs time to adapt to the English game," Mikel said.
"The English game is always difficult no matter who you are. It always takes time."
Having already scored in a pre season game, Mikel feels that the attacker has already shown glimpses of what he is capable of. Despite that fact, he thinks that the former Lille player needs to really take things, one step at a time and make his way up the ranks.
"He's a great player and he's shown some flashes of what he can do."
"We just have to give him time," Mikel added.
However, the midfielder feels that Hazard might not be the only player who is asked to adjust to a new style of play. The Blues player thinks that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo might go on and make a number of changes to the team and the way that they play football, which would cause all the players to try and develop a new manner in which to go about their game.
"I did it last season [adjusting to a new style] and I've been doing it since I've come here. I just keep on doing what I do," Mikel said.
Nonetheless, it is now up to the Chelsea players to go on and try and make this coming season a far more successful one then their last one.
