Mikkayla Sheridan captures 400m freestyle crown: 2011 Australian Age Championships

Mikkayla Sheridan clinched the Girls 16yrs 400m freestyle title with a sensational time of 4:14.13 minutes at 2011 Australian Age Championships in Adelaide. Meanwhile, Laura Crockhart wound up second in 4:17.13 minutes, and Dahlas Rogers finished third in
a time of 4:22.36 minutes. Previously in the event, Sheridan had won the Girls 200m IM title.
In the Girls 14yrs 200m back-stroke, Lauren Rettie of River City Rapids grabbed the golden crown with a fascinating time of 2:18.55 minutes. Meanwhile, Caitlyn Richardson took the silver in 2:20.24 minutes, and Meg Bailey wound up third in a time of 2:20.99
minutes.
Sebastian Cumins took home the Boy’s 14yrs 200m back-stroke title with a sterling time of 2:08.35 minutes, while Ryan Leonard captured the silver in a time of 2:10.88 minutes. Edward Marks snared the bronze title with a 2:13.23 minutes effort.
In the Girl’s 17/18yrs 100m back-stroke, Whitney Ireland snared the gold medal with a stirring time of 1:01.35 minutes, while Josh Beaver took the first place in the Boys 17/18yrs back-stroke with a matchless time of 56.17 seconds.

Jeffery Arona-Tuifana of New Zealand took the gold medal in the Boy’s 16yrs 100m breast-stroke meet with an astounding time of 1:03.60 minutes. Tommy Sucipto of South Lake Dolphins snagged the silver in 1:03.78 minutes, while Jake Packard grabbed the bronze
in a time of 1:04.75 minutes. Remy Fairweather won the Girl’s 14yrs 800m freestyle title with an outstanding time of 8:38.93 minutes.
