The Serbia international has no regrets about leaving Paris Saint-Germain for Lyon, and is targeting silverware and a Champions League finish this season
Following the arrival of several high-profile arrivals at Parc des Princes during the summer transfer window, it was expected that few players will depart the capital club in search of regular footballing action.
Milan Bisevac is among the players who have left the cash-laden club from Paris this season. And the 28-year-old views his move to the seven-time champions of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 as a step forward in his career.
While talking to reporters, the centre-back stated that Les Gones are a big club with rich history, and he is glad to be a part of Remi Garde’s side.
“I'm really happy to be at Lyon. I've come here with a lot of desire and I'll give everything for the club. I played for one big club, Paris Saint-Germain, and now I've joined another big club in Olympique Lyonnais."
With several key Lyon defenders on the verge of leaving Stade Velodrome, Bisevac will get enough opportunities to make his mark this season.
The http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Serbia-c3002 international has praised his new club and is looking forward to help the Rhone giants win titles this season.
The 28-year-old versatile player, who can play in the centre of defence or at right-back, feels that he has made a right choice by moving to Lyon, and is of the view that his side can fight for podium position this season.
"My arrival has gone really well. There is a great atmosphere here. It's a family atmosphere and that's the way I like it," the former Lens player told Ligue1.com.
While talking about Les Gones’ objectives this season, Milan Bisevac stated that their main priority is to qualify for the Champions League.
"Qualifying for the Champions League is our objective. It won't be easy this year and there will be some stiff competition; it'll be even tougher than last season. But Lyon are capable of doing it.”
Bisevac, who has already made two appearances for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-Lyonnais-c40130 this season, was barely used by the coaches at Parc des Princes in the 2011/2012 Ligue 1 campaign. The Serbian made 19 league appearances for PSG last season, scoring a goal in the process.
