Such was his performance, that it lead many people calling for Bisevac to become a permanent right-back.

Furthermore, Bisevac flourished offensively as well and provided the assist for one of Nene’s goals. While talking to the media, Bisevac said that the idea was of Ancelotti to play him as a right-back.

Bisevac is now keen on playing at the same position again if the need arises.
“In this role, you must be more vigilant. You have to play simple but effective football. I can continue to play right, it does not bother me. Most importantly, winning is the first objective.”
The Christmas tree formation adapted by Carlo Ancelotti is certainly starting to pay dividends and Bisevac could become an integral part of this formation if he manages to produce the same performance that he did against Toulouse on a consistent basis.
