I heard that in italy 'thin is in ' Milan are said not to be banning their ultra thin models off the catwalk i think that this is good as people are all in different shapes and sizes they want to be how they are the models are no different they are happy skinny. What do you think about this 'In Italy thin is in?'

  1. I've never seen a girl that is so thin, as those on the catwalk,  without being either very, very young or anorexic. Since they wear dresses that are for people they shouldn't be so different from the "ordinary" people. After model's death last summer fashion designers should ask for normal people like Spain did.

  2. Ratpants are you a model then?

    Give me your number....

  3. You are right...I'm sick of designers who keep presenting their collections on walking broomstcks or androginous pre-adolescents...of course it is easier to dress a stick than a real curvy woman, as my gramma, who was a tailor, uses to say.

Luckily there are now a few designers in Milan presenting collections for REAL women, with real size models! In the future I hope to see only these beautiful women on catwalks and fashion magazines.

  4. I think I've never seen an Italian girl who was naturally thin, there all either curvy (which is good in my opinion), or anorexia or bulimic. Those models aren't women there anorexic little girls with the body's of boys, Once in a while there's model who looks like there supposed to be that way, but most of the time, they  have there ribs sticking though there skin and cocaine habits. Its sick that our culture endorses this 'beauty', skeletons are not beautiful.
