Adriano Galliani is trying to squeeze in a one-year loan for Kaka in lieu of a sale in order to avoid paying the requisite transfer fee.
With the transfer window closing on Friday, time is running out and the Brazilian seems to be in some level of demand.
According to Real Madrid manager, Jose Mourinho, the Brazilian playmaker is not of vital importance in his plans for the season. Mourinho left him out for the Spanish Super Cup match at Barcelona, and also for La Liga match at Getafe.
Milan is making it clear that they don’t want the midfielder on a permanent transfer, and that they are only willing to settle for a loan.
"If they change their minds I'm ready to fly to Madrid, otherwise nothing will happen. We have five central midfielders and five wingers and I would say we're totally covered," says Galliani.
Madrid is currently trying to complete the transfer of Tottenham Hotspur’s midfielder Luka Modric for £27 Million, who seems to be an appropriate alternative for Kaka.
Since the arrival of Harry Redknapp as manager of the Spurs, Luka Modric has shown himself to be a formidable attacking midfielder and as a result has been on demand for quite a while now, with Chelsea FC bidding £22 Million last year.
Apart from Madrid spending £27 million on Modric, the La Liga champions are reluctant to loan out a 30-year-old player who, in 2009, cost them €65 million.
However this does not mean that Kaka is out of the picture. Paris St Germain are reportedly talking to Real, trying to negotiate prices for the midfielder, while it seems that Manchester United may also benefit from Kaka’s experience following Yaya Toure’s
move to rivals, Manchester City, and Eden Hazard proving himself to be more than capable of securing a successful season for Chelsea.
Galatasaray were also interested in Kaka, however they pulled out with the club president, Unal Aysal, stating “What is Kaka going to do in this team? Do I really have much of a need for him?”
A possible loan to Tottenham has also been reported, however no major negotiations on the matter have taken place.
