Mild dot or tactical milling

What is better the mil-dot or the tactical milling recticle??? is there a big difference between reticles? Which is better?

My Bad ACOG. Na bro the Acog for the  m14 sucks they say it has to drop compensator for a 7.62 but we have had nothing but problems with them. Your lookin long range...how far. If your shoting a M24 i would go with the Leupold Mark 4 with tactical milling. I feel you should get tactical milling for long range which to me is 700-1000m Thats all we use is leupold....great scopes man
