Mildew problem..help please?

When I walk into my living room and dining room all I smell is mildew, Its even worse after it rains(weird I Know)I know its coming up from my basement,,so how do I get rid of that smell?

If it is coming from your basement, you have to check and see if it is dry or not. Rain always brings out the smells stronger. You have got to get rid of the source to get rid of the smell. You could wash down the basement with bleach after you make sure it is not going to get wet again, because you certainly do not want to have to do that more than once.

Bleach,  dehumidifyer  great ideas.  Put activated charcoal in jar tops  around the basement,under chairs , couches, beds closets,cabnets.  The charcoal is cheap and works

bleach will help sanitize, but invest in a de-humidifier, trust me, it will solve your problem
