  1. bleach or mildew stain remover from scrubbing bubbles.

  2. ammonia is also an effective thing to use

  3. Scrubbing with vinegar is a safe, effective way to remove mildew.

  4. something on the market called CLOROX GEL PENS.

they are sold in the supermarkets along side soaps and cleaners.  they cost about $3.00  i have been using them now for over a year to get rid of mold in my shower almost EFFORTLESSLY. the pen has two ends where the GEL comes out of. the one end is similar to a whiteout pen, you take the top off and squeeze the gel lightly onto the mold, no need to scrub, just let set overnight and the mold will be gone.

use it like it were a crayon, only on the mold.  it also comes in a twin pack for about $5.00.  that's the one i buy.   you have to look hard to find it. i usually buy it at a local supermarket chain called SHOPRITE, but would believe you could get it at any large supermarket.  maybe even WALMART.

how far it goes depends on how much mold you have.

i run a fan at the tub to help keep it dry after a shower because it's the moisture that's left over from the shower that lets the mold grow.  eliminate the moisture and you eliminate the mold.

i forgot to mention that the other end has a small soft plastic scrub brush that allows you to squirt some gel on the mold and then use the scrubber on the mold..

    good luck to ya.
