1 lap in 1:40

  1. I assume you're running on a standard 400-meter track.  A mile is approximately equal to 1600 meters, or four laps around the track.  (Actually a mile is a little more than 1600 meters, but it's close enough.)

Assuming you're running a standard 400-meter track, 2 laps = 800 meters, which is approximately half a mile. 3:15*2=6:30 pace.  6:30 pace on the treadmill is about 9.2 MPH.

1 lap in 1:40 is approximately a quarter mile.  1:40*4 laps = 6:40 pace. 6:40 pace on the treadmill is 9.0 mph.

A half lap would be 200 meters.  1600/200=8.  This would  thus be 8*:55 = 7:20 pace.  7:20 pace on a treadmill is about 8.2 MPH.

    This site:

has the equivalent paces for miles per hour.

  2. well if you are talking about a normal track where a lap is 400m then:

about 9.2mph for all of them.

  3. How far is a lap? Is it a 1/4 mile, 1/2 mile or 1 mile?

    Then we can help you.
