Miles per gallon Distance til empty 05 Altima ?

ok i have a 2005 nissan altima its i guess the stardard or base model so it does not tell me how many miles per gallon im getting or the distance till empty or the temp nothing. i really want that stuff so i know how many more miles i car go before i run out of gas. nissan says the 2005 is a 20 gallon tank well anyways i really want to know how many miles per gallon im gettimg and the distance till empty is there a website that i can go to and purchase one of these becasue im sure nissan would charge a c**p load for that so anyone please help me please.

Idk if this helps, but you can figure out your mpg this way.

1)fill up your car till the pump stops. no more.

2)reset your trip meter.

3)wait untill you need gas or when ever u get gas next.

4)fill it back up till the pump goes off. no more.

5)see how many gallons you just put in. on step 4.

6)Look at your trip see how many miles you went.

7)take the miles divided by the gallons and this will equal you mpg.

Example.



Went 250 miles. fill it back up and it took 10.5 gallons.

250/10.5=23.8mpg.

Figure your gas mileage miles divided by gallons MPG then times that 20.3 gallons. Distance to empty is just that. Your low fuel light is working? it comes on with approx 2.0 gallons left in the tank fill up and see. Most highway driven Altima 2.5 liter cars get almost 30 MPG so your tank could last almost 600 miles. Range on the freeway with smooth driving style at or under 65 mph.
