Miley Cyrus question for parents?

There seems to be a lot of anti Miley/Hannah press going around and i would like to know if other parents think she is a good role model for young girls.

as a parent of 4 i would say that miley cyrus is a good role model for children but the thing is none of my children no about miley cyrus' problems i dont talk to them about it and if they did no she had problems my children have no idea what the news is talking about i just keep it secret and if they ask you if she has done bad things just ask what bad things what problems dont lie to them just lead them to believe something different

truthfully I think she is for now..She did have a raunchy pose but think about it..How many girls play dress up and do weird poses just goofing off? No one is perfect and you have to understand she still is a kid. I guess I would rather my daughter looking up to miley than her looking up to Britney or lil Kim..so just think of it that way.

Well, I'm not a parent, but if you were to ask some close friends who are parents or what my parents would have said about me at 15, they'd say "She's still a baby." Truth of the matter is. Every one wants to be famous like Miley is at 15 years old, but thankfully we aren't. I had to face some tough times with family illness and and other such things but never was allowed to sing in front of an audience. Even as a young inexperienced adult I wouldn't know how to handle fame. Some folks never will know, but 15 is a very vulnerable age. This is just my two cents worth.

Miley is a child not unlike my own children. Just as my own children need direction so does she. I think she is a fine role model. I have a 15 year old daughter and all I want for her is to be safe and happy and I am sure Miley's parents feel the same. The difference between Miley and my own children is that she is in the public eye and everything she does is broadcast on TV, News and the Web. Thank God that not everything my children do are posted in public. I feel for her.
