i know this is old news and we all know that miley cyrus did those controversial pics in vanity fair. but my question is why was she even on vanity fair in the first place. yeah i know shes popular right now but isn't vanity fair the type of magazine that talks about real celebrities and news and not some dumb pop star. is she really that famous to be in a prestigious magazine like vanity fair. what is really all the hype about her anyways.why did vanity fair care so much about haveing her on the magazine. shouldn't she be on the cover of tiger beat instead.

Vanity Fair looks at many aspects of the modern world and Miley Cyrus happens to be a current pre-teen idol.

The article examined both her career and her relationship with her father.

The "controversy" was cooked up by the tabloid press, the picture taken by Annie Leibowitz was fine, Miley had her back to the camera and showed only a bare shoulder and upper back - no more than you would see on any beach.

Why all the hate? What exactly has she done to upset so many people? Be young? Pretty? Popular? Earn a lot of money?

Maybe folks should try reading the papers at see what's going on in the world, there are plenty of people deserving your attention and hatred.
