Military Airlift Command (MAC ) flights how do you find when and where they go and how you wrangle a seat ?

I am a Military retiree and would like info. on how the process works or links to a web site or a publication that will help me plan and execute a MAC trip overseas

  1. I used to have to call Flight Ops at a given base.  See what's flying where and when.


  2. I found this fairly helpful site on what is called Space-A travel.  As far as I understand it, travel is free or fairly cheap, but you don't necessarily get a guaranteed departure time or date..

    Seems like a great program though, wish my Dad had been aware of it before he passed on..
