My husband is in Army BCT and has been gone since the 4th... He has been at the actual camp since the 7th until the 22nd when they actually started his basic. He has been told by the people THERE that he will be paid the 29. We use a local state bank, and I was just wondering when his direct diposit should show up, tonight at midnight? Or his time at midnight? I'm curious, we have a family back here and we are running on a little less then TIGHT.Also, I havent been given any info from him about his mypay account yet, what does this account do for me that our banking account cant?

  1. It will show up tonight at midnight

  2. actually I wouldn't count on getting paid at all.   In fact I wouldn't expect to get paid before the 15th.  while the Army tends to set stuff up the quickest, it still takes a month or so.  and if he didn't process until the 22nd.. yeah  he won't get paid before October.

  3. The Time And and If he gets paid a day early depends on his Bank, sorry I cant help you with that info. But his Mypay Account is where he can handle his army finacial things. It also has his LES whichis his statement for how Much He Makes for the month and his leave days and such.

  4. his money will be there tonight, that is if all the paper work is turned in. it took 6 weeks for my husband to get his 1st check. but they will be paying him from the day he left.and you can google mypay, and go to the web site and sit it up for him, you will need his ss and then make him a password, you need to know this so you Can see his les, to make sure he is getting payed rite, there will be a lot of times when he cant see it. this will tell you about every thing he is getting payed for. and there is a really good web sit that will help you learn how to read it and what every thing means. www.marriedtothearmy.com. its a good places for family to go and learn about the army and how things work. if you need help with anything just email me.

  5. He should get paid on the 29th, but the timing differs by banks.  Usually it is there in the morning of the time zone of your bank.  I am not familiar with the mypay account, but believe it is just information.  If the money is going to your state bank, then you will not see any changes.

  6. It will be there on the 29th at midnight. Check your account balance before you spend anything though, because it usually takes 4 hours for it to post to my account. If he had any problems inprocessing, it might not make it till the 15th of next month, so be sure you check before you spend.

  7. Your husband's direct deposit should show up on the 29th...mine always has. As for the MyPay account - basically, it will be able to show him his LES (Leave and Earnings Statement) for each paycheck. The military does things a little differently - his LES will show how much money he made, what was deducted foor taxes, family healthcare, medicare, social security, the normal on any paycheck, however, it will also show his dependent staus (ie, married) and how much leave he has accrued. This account can also be used to set a certain amount of money to the side for savings or to enroll in the Thrift Savings Plan - something he will get more information on later in his carreer.

    Hope this helps!
