hi, my wife and I just had a baby girl, she will be deployed to iraq in January of 2009. I can't afford to work where I am at and afford child care, so I have to either find contract work or work from home. I have also heard of this new law that just came into effect, I was curious if the Military Family Leave Act supports minnesotans? what are the guidelines, specs or links that i can get more information about Minnesota's involvement with the Military Family Leave Act. Please help!

  1. It is the same as FMLA. There is no pay involved and intended to allow a family member of an injured military person to take time off work to care for them. Click on the link below for details.
