I was discharged from USMC bootcamp for ptsd.(prior service(OIF) I had no history of it. I came home and tried to get back in but they said that I needed to prove that I was fixed. I went to the VA got checked out and they said there was nothing wrong with me. I have the papers from the VA show that. I also have a congressman that has looked over my papers and has written a letter. Is there anything else that I can do that might help? I haven't heard anything back yet..

  1. It sounds like you have gone through all the steps that you needed to. I am sure a lot of the decision will be based on need and how severe your PTSD was when you had it.  Sounds like it wasn't that bad, and you should be good to go in no time.

  2. get a lawyer that will work probono. they can help with any legalities that may arise from trying to get back in. Best of luck
