  1. I'm a military wife too, so I know how you feel.  The uncertainties is a killer.  I don't think we can ever really be sure.

  2. Georgia wants to join NATO but they have not yet, so we have NO agreement to help them if they are attacked. So there is nothing on paper that sais they are our allies.

They have even sent troops to Iraq to get on our side, and we have already helped them by using US Planes to send there brigade back to Georgia.

No we will never get involved with that other than diplomatically.

We have to much going on with Iraq, Afghanastan, ect.

  3. anything is possible.

  4. I don't think we'll send any troops over there. Right now we're trying to help out from a Political stand point, but you never know what our dumb **** president will do. Problem is if we do send troops over, this **** could escalate into another World War and that would suck supreme nuts.

I don't think George Bush is THAT stupid. At least I hope not...

  5. There is no reason for us to deploy.  Anything is possible, but for this action that is a long long way off and probably never.

  6. Right now, no US military troops are being forward deployed to Georgia.  The US is only providing humanitarian aid.  We're streched out enough with both  wars.

    I agree with you husband.
