Military medal help????

I have this medal http://pl.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medal_Za_udzia%C5%82_w_wojnie_obronnej_1939 and the medal part slipped of the ribbon and i want to re attach it how can i do this?

  1. Use a hot melt glue gun


  2. Do you have the little metal ring that slips through the ribbon? If not, take it to the hardware store and ask for gunmetal colored 3/8" or 1/4" ring. Slip it through both to attach them together. Use pliers to close and you're done.

  3. I agree that the hardware store idea is preferable to a glue gun.

    I'm concerned that a glue gun would damage the medal.

    I'm not sure a hardware store would have an item small enough to accomplish this. I suggest a sewing or craft store.
