Military time?

This may seem kind of stupid, but is there a specific way to say the time? Like, say it's 1:45 pm in standard time... would you say "thirteen hundred and forty five hours" or "one thousand, three hundred and forty five hours"?

  1. Three other people already answered it for you, But I would like to add something to it as well. I am from the United States and I am guessing that you are as well. Here is why I think that. Every wheres else in the world uses that version of time but they call it the 24 clock. People use both versions of course but every where else in the world it is taught in schools. It seems like the United States in the only country where people grow up calling it military time, because the only people that use it here are Military and Civil Service type of jobs.

  2. Thirteen fourtyfive.

  3. Thirteen hundred is only used at the top of the hour: 1:00.  And when you write it... its 1300. or in your example 1345.  One solid whole number.
