It would depend on if you were drinking it in the summer or the winter.  Regardless when they melt they are no good (unless you like melted sugar milk).  I say about 45 min before it is totally melted less in the summer heat.

they do not last.  They tend to separate and not taste good.

They don't last that long, so chug it down fast b4 it gets all gross & gooey & that stuff.

You can put it in the freezer and if properly sealed it should keep for up to 3 months.

NOTE: Once you freeze a milk shake it will NOT be the same. It will NOT go back to the milky state. You will basically be eating 'milk shake' ice cream. The flavor profile should not change by freezing, just the consistency.
