Milk and white vinegar plastic questions

I made a batch some what following the recipe. I used apple cider vinger an least I think thats what it is called is that okay to use? How long will it take to form? How long can you keep the stuff? Also, I didnt know what part to remove so I keep it together when I put it in the mold.

Let it dry over night.

Pour out the liquid part.

Don't keep it for too long.  A week is fine.
