Mill Maximus has the best odds for winning Bettor.com Scottish Derby 1st Round Heat 1 at Shawfield in England on Saturday, March 31, 2012. The winner of the 480 metres flat race will be awarded with a cash prize of £100.
The Grade OR event is scheduled to start at 19:45 GMT and following are the entries confirmed: Mill Maximus, Head Iton Hayesy, Freds Champ, Skywalker Louie, Caledonian Brae and Banfid Samson.
The bookies expect Mill Maximus to dominate proceedings in the race, as he is in spectacular form at the moment. He has been running at different venues in recent times and his overall performances have been quite impressive.
K. Macari’s trainee was victorious in his most recent race at Shawfield, where he was awarded with the best odds as well. He started the race in a positive way and managed to build a solid lead towards the end, winning comfortably by over a couple of lengths.
The black dog certainly has the winning momentum at the moment and it will be difficult to stop him from winning. The punters will also have faith in his abilities and they will be risking some money in his favour.
Mill Maximus is the son of Boherna On Air out of Unreal and was born in November 2009.
S. Race’s trainee, Head Iton Hayesy, is also a very good runner and will be the one to watch out for at Shawfield. He has been setting some impressive trial times at different venues, thus the bettors will interested in risking money in his favour.
The brindle dog might be a touch rusty, as he has not been in racing form. However, he has a very good stamina and the longer distances always work in his favour, thus he will have ample time to adjust to the conditions.
Head Iton Hayesy is the son of Westmead Hawk out of Windgap Aero and was born in October 2009.
Other than the top two favourites, Freds Champ has also got a good chance of securing victory at Shawfield today. He is a decent runner and can surprise one and all with his speed.
The rest of the participants do not seem to have any chances of fighting for victories, as they are not in good rhythm right now.
