At the moment, you seem to mistake the word "cool" for "cruel".

Hopefully, you're only 14 or so and will grow out of this phase.

Yuck, James is a masculine boy's name, it always will be a masculine boys name. That spelling doesn't look cool, it looks illiterate and makes you look even more ignorant for giving your daughter such a well known boy's name. This is a child we're talking about, not a doll. Eventually she'll grow up and not think it's so cool or cute that everyone assumes she's a boy, because for her parent's selfish reasons decided to give her that name.

I like Billi-ann.  I would use a feminine middle name to add that girly touch to her name.  Billi-ann Rose.  Billi-ann Charlotte.
