  1. MGD is pretty good, it has the best aroma in my opinion. Bud and Coors are rank.

  2. Not at all, in canada bud or labatt is a nice change from dollar beers like carling or lucky. problem is in canada a regular domestic beer like bud is 40 bucks a 24.

  3. As previously stated macro brewed beers severely lack flavor. Thats one reason many people think beer should be served ice cold. If your bud miller or coors is even slightly warm it does taste like p**s.

The way to go the the quality mirco route. big flavorful strong brews which are actually enjoyable.

  4. Its not that Miller and Bud taste bad, they just don't taste like much at all.  These are mild tasting mass produced beers that are designed to be be produced cheaply and not offend most people's palate.  There are so many wonderful and flavorful beers out there that I don't know where to begin.  The next time you are at a liquor store, try a beer you have never seen before.  There is no guarantee that you will like it, but it will most likely be a lot different than Miller or Bud.

  5. you are not wrong my friend

  6. I keep High Life handy for nights where I know I and/or guests am/are gonna get drunk. Having bought a case on sale, a 6pk comes out to $2 if I were to get a 6pk of anything else it would be at least $4. Keep in mind I rarely have this urge anymore, but it's good to have, though more so if I am invited to an event where ppl prefer quantity over quality

Thanks for the trip down memory lane Ryan : my roomates at UQTR would often have a 40 (1,18L) of Carling Extra Forte with a plate of poutine for supper, then ask me why they didn't have girlfriends LMAO !! .. good thing for them I speak Quebecois fluently !!

  7. labbatts blue is the best. i just drink the cheap **** like minhouse creek or tundra though, makes no never mind to me since i been a hard core drunk for over 25 years. most anything is better than mouth wash which i've been known to imbibe in during hard times.

  8. I think I going against the grain by saying Bud is a quality inexpensive beer.

That said, High Life tastes like watered down malt liquor and Coors has the slight taste of cooked rice. YES! I said it, and it does.

For mass produced beer I prefer Bud (not Bud Light or any other incarnation) and pretty much any Molson product. I like drinking craft brews a lot, but I can't spend $10 on a six-pack all the time.

  9. Macrobrewers find it more important to maximize profits, rather than taste. They substitute corn and rice for portions of their grain bill. Miller (among other unscrupulous practices) chemically alters its grains to prevent skunking. CHEMICALLY ALTERS! Beer is meant to be pure and natural!

I'm going to stop there...it's early and I don't want to ruin my day thinking about sh#tty beer.
