Question:

Miller Lite Beer Allergy?

Similar to a post from 2 months ago (apologies for not being able to figure out how to reply to it) I have been drinking Miller Lite for a long time and never had issues with hives or facial swelling. All of the answers to the past post seemed to deal with allergies to the ingredients or other medications.

Last month I had a couple of bottles of Miller Lite and woke up the next day with a swollen face. Last week I was drinking Miller Lite out of cans, no problem. Last night I had one Miller Lite bottle and my lip started swelling up again.

Could something have changed in the last few months with the way they bottle the beer? Maybe a change to the beer caps or sanitizing the glass bottles?

  1. I don't know about Miller Lite, but you could be allergic to the hops in the beer.  I know I'm allergic to hops, and luckily I don't drink much beer.  If you want you can try other beers to see what happens.

  2. Consider yourself lucky - Miller Lite is c**p beer...
