how do you convert something in millimolar to micromolar ie 80mM to uM

  1. 1 milli molar =10^-3 molar

    1 micromolar = 10^-6 molar

    therefore 1 milli molar = 1 x 10^-3 micro molar.....

    In general.....

    milli = 10^-3

    micro = 10^-6

    nano = 10^-9

    pico = 10^-12

    femto = 10^-15

    Therefore 80mM = 80 x 10^-3 uM

    i.e 0.08uM
