Question:

Millions of tiny dots in my vision?

I don't know how to describe it, but it's really like.. a million tiny little black and white dots everywhere I look (but far harder to notice in the daylight) that almost appear to move, but are impossible to focus on. I've had this for as long as I can remember. I do recall being about 4(i'm 15 now) years old and seeing this.

It's not floaters. I've seen the floaters, and that is NOT what this is. I also don't think its that entopic phenomenon or whatever, with the colored dots in the daylight.

I don't know how to describe it, once again. Can somebody help me out here? I went to an eye doctor 2 years ago, and I do recall having this issue then. He would have caught it then right?

Is there any known blindness-causing disease of the eyes that this sounds like, other than something like retinal detachment?
