Millipedes in my Yucca tree!?

I bought a gorgeous yucca tree in IKEA a week ago. But after I took it home I discovered that the soil is all invaded with ugly bugs. They keep traveling out of the pot and their presence on my floor doesn't make me happy. I found out they are called millipedes. Could anybody tell me how can I get rid of them?

A cheap and quick method would be to dunk the pot and plant in a bucket of water for an hour or so. This should send th little critters to the surface pretty sharpish. Then scoop them out. Otherwise nasty chemicals are required and nobody likes that!

well how big are the millipedes and if you have a pond feed them to what evers in it like frogs
